Are we supposed to only be thankful one day out of the year? What exactly are we being taught? What are we co-signing to? Are we supposed to lead or follow? Who and what are our examples? Seek out truth and find out the origins of what is celebrated. Are we brave enough to research on our own or do we feel more comfortable staying in what we learned in ignorance? Ask questions! Growth is in learning what the truth is and changing your life for the betterment of generations to come. Sometimes accountability isn’t favorable to the masses. The consequences of knowing what the truth of the matter may separate you from what you think life is. Your normal may be a lie to benefit a dishonest and greedy society or leadership. In enjoying the up and coming holidays remember to search your heart, the scriptures and the origins of what unites us, it just may be a disappointment. Fear not…God will not be mocked. To sum up sharing in my personal view, is to give and take as needed and to do it selflessly. If we take unnecessarily or give unwillingly then we have missed the mark and it won’t be counted towards us as good deeds. Being forced to do well or taking anything without a cause demonstrates to others that we have no morals or values. We are supposed to teach and treat others how we want to be taught and treated. In my opinion it doesn’t make sense to take thing we don’t need or to give to someone what you still want for yourself. There are many Biblical stories (example: the married couple Ananias and Sapphira) that prove not so good outcomes when our hearts are not in the right place. Frankly we don’t even need religion or other motivations in order to feel good or make others happy because it will just feel like the correct things to do.
Although some of these are taught at very young ages, not everyone has adapted and this will be visible through greed and selfishness which are some narcissistic qualities. This particular post was motivated by me watching a YouTube video and also witnessing countless actions/activities between my 9 year old and my 5 year old second cousin. I call it the “me, me, me/I, I, I syndrome” it’s very entertaining to say the least. In conclusion, when you give and take please allow your heart to lead because what gave won’t give you pleasure and what you took won’t benefit you. Remember you’re being watched…literally!

Victory is the goal! “Well done my good and faithful servant” is what most of us long to hear at the end of the race. The finish line is not only set before us but there are many stumbling blocks along the way. We have to remember that this world was given to hasatan for a season and he is crafty, sneaky even. The Most High’s plan for you is to prosper and to live abundantly. If we carry the concerns of this world then we are already losing the race! Give your cares to the Heavenly Father because He cares for you and by no means does He want us worrying or depressed (not even stressed). Allow God to have the hard things that we have no to little power over, He is waiting for you to give Him permission and authority over every area of your life (which is not your own anyway). Submit, wear your armour, walk in the fruit of the spirit, repent, pray, watch and wait! You will witness the wonderful works of His hands right before your face. Be vigilant, be safe, be strong and forgive – to receive the fair favor our Father wants to give all of His children who love Him and keep His commandments (that He told us to keep FOREVER).
