Gratefulness

Appreciation

Thankfulness

Increase

Are we supposed to only be thankful one day out of the year? What exactly are we being taught? What are we co-signing to? Are we supposed to lead or follow? Who and what are our examples? Seek out truth and find out the origins of what is celebrated. Are we brave enough to research on our own or do we feel more comfortable staying in what we learned in ignorance? Ask questions! Growth is in learning what the truth is and changing your life for the betterment of generations to come. Sometimes accountability isn’t favorable to the masses. The consequences of knowing what the truth of the matter may separate you from what you think life is. Your normal may be a lie to benefit a dishonest and greedy society or leadership. In enjoying the up and coming holidays remember to search your heart, the scriptures and the origins of what unites us, it just may be a disappointment. Fear not…God will not be mocked. I love you all with the love of Christ, examine the evidence.

Faith in God

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. Faith is knowing that God is! How can we want the Most High to do exceedingly abundantly all that we can ask or think but not trust that He has the power and control to do it? When we move outside of His will, His word or His way then we become our own power and remove the Father out of His set apart position. Give Him permission to work on your behalf.

When we come humbly before the LORD we must believe with all of our heart, body and soul that He has heard us and that He will move mountains for us. We also have to trust that whatever we bring to the Most High’s footstool will leave us victorious. In other words…get out of the way and allow God to be who He is. Just remember that life and death is in the power of the tongue. Don’t rob Yah of His Authority.

Homeschooling

Do Parents Homeschool For Religious Reasons?

With the rise in homeschooling across the country many individuals wonder what the motivating factor behind homeschooling is. There are many motivating factors but one of the most popular is for religious reasons. The vast majority of individuals homeschooling for religious reasons are doing so to teach their children Christian-like values and principles. However, there has been a rise in Muslim families homeschooling for religious reasons also. The same goes for Jews and other religions as well.

Homeschooling for religious reasons was responded by approximately 33% of the families across the nation for the main reason they homeschool. It really is a good reason for those families who want to raise their children with certain morals, values and respect which isn’t being done in the public school system. Religion is not allowed in that particular public forum and many children don’t or won’t have any religious background whatsoever. They can be a bad influence on other children who are being raised with a certain faith, bully them and challenge their faith.

While religious adults must deal with this all the time in the work place, etc., children rebel against religion frequently if they feel it is what causes them to not be received or even popular. Because of this many parents choose to raise their children in a controlled environment. They know what their children are learning and who they are learning it from matters. Parents aren’t concerned about their children being influenced negatively or experiencing ungodly things from other children at a public school because their child is at home. Additionally, parents have control over social situations and interactions. This means that they can help their child choose Christian, Muslim, Jewish, etc., friends that are like minded.

Raising children is certainly a challenge and trying to raise children within a certain structure can be even more challenging. However, it is certainly possible with a little dedication from the parents and the child. Of course, children will still rebel and do sometimes do inappropriate things because that is the nature of learning discipline and boundaries but parents have much more control over their children and what they are learning than if they were in a public school atmosphere/system.
